If you like Featherweights, this is their "big sister". Much of the drivetrain is the same, but the 301 is larger, more powerful, and still a lightweight (about 16 lbs) portable machine. It's the only Singer with a carry handle.
The 301 was also the first of Singer's new, modern slant needle design that moves the sewing forward for better visibility.
This is a shortbed version in mocha, with its original trapezoid case. This machine is in excellent, fully-restored condition with all original finishes.
Included are the accessories, foot controller, manual, and optional zigzag attachment unique to slant needle models.
The restored case is serviceable, but shows wear and some of the brown vinyl edging is missing.
